ein Anfang der 1990er-Jahre von Microsoft vorgestelltes Betriebssystem für Pen-Computer, das von Windows abgeleitet wurde. Damit ließen sich für Windows entwickelte Anwendungsprogramme problemlos auf einem Pen-Computer einsetzen. Da Pen-Computer aufgrund ihrer Besonderheiten und eingeschränkten Funktionalität aber nicht die üblichen Windows-Programme, sondern speziell abgestimmte Software benötigen, konnte sich Pen-Windows nicht am Markt durchsetzen. Microsoft setzte in der Folge auf Windows CE bzw. Pocket PC 2002.
